Experience-Dependent Parvalbumin Inhibitory Neuron Plasticity Gene (XPG) Atlas

Users can search the atlas for whether your favorite genes of interest (YFGs) were identified as putative regulators of experience-dependent parvalbumin inhibitory neuron plasticity or “XPGs” in a first of its kind in vivo, input specific, activity-sensitive adult hippocampal PV translatome screen performed in the Sahay Lab. The atlas integrates cell-specific gene expression, protein–protein interaction data, and disease annotation (neurodevelopmental disorders, ASD, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia).

About the Study

Details on the XPG screen can be found in the manuscript by Shih and Alipio et al. (Nature 2026), “Procognitive restoration of PV neuron plasticity in neurodevelopmental disorders.”
